Implementation Process
We will support your business throughout the entire process of implementation. This level of support can range from simple skill auditing
through to data rationalisation and input.
We can also provide administrator training that is bespoke to each user's requirements.
1. SkillStation account creation
We provide access for you to our online system.
2. Data Audit
We work with you to assess your existing competency framework or skills list, and determine the most effective way to represent this within SkillStation.
This process will ensure that your competency framework is easy to manage, and will meet current market demands. More
Existing data can be used from any source, e.g. spreadsheets or paper records.
Any of the following processes can be included:
- Analysis of existing workforce skills (across single or multiple sites)
- Analysis of existing competency level definitions
- Mapping of organisational structure to SkillStation
- Identification and target of pilot group (if required)
- Generation of new competency frameworks based on previous data
- Comparison and migration of competency frameworks across sites
3. Data Migration
Skill and competency data is migrated into SkillStation's framework.
4. Training for SkillStation administrators
A 3-part training session is provided to staff who will act as super-users for your organisation. More
This session usually occupies three separate half-day sessions, and will provide staff with all of the knowledge they need to manage SkillStation effectively.
Additional training sessions can be provided if required. General administrator users can also be trained, who will have lower levels of access and responsibility.
5. SkillStation Deployment
SkillStation is deployed across your business or initial target group.
Pricing
The pricing for SkillStation is calculated on a per-user basis. The purchase involves an initial set-up fee, followed by an annual support & maintenance agreement.
The annual support & maintenance agreement provides you with the following:
- Hosting of data with 24-hour online access

- E-Mail
- Online help
- User Forum
- All product updates, enhancements & new features
- Attendance at SkillStation User Group Meetings
- Access to SkillStation information-sharing portal

- Adobe Flash Player (for printing competency certificates)
- Microsoft Excel 97-2003 or compatible (for batch entering data)
- Email address for each user (for communication of login details)
